Pride Summer Conditioning We are very excited, once again, to partner with the athletic department this summer to offer our students access to the many resources at BA. Cody Ellett, the Director of Strength and Conditioning at BA is developing a summer workout specifically for the Pride! The workouts will assist our students with cardiovascular fitness, upper body strength, as well as core strength and balance. The Pride workouts will be in the Indoor facility each Monday, Tuesday and Thursday beginning on June 3rd. All hornline and battery are expected to attend. These conditioning sessions are FREE of charge.

Leadership Applications - Pride Veterans interested in applying for the Pride Leadership Team need to pick up an application directly from Mr. Wiencken in the High School Percussion Studio. Drum Major applications are due to Mr. Wiencken by May 29.

Cut Time Financial, Data, Communication and Information Platform Cut Time is an online Band Information & Financial Management platform that the BA Bands utilize to organize and reach the right people with the information they need. Cut Time tracks student progress through the years including program participation, inventory assignments and financial obligations. This is a new service to the BA Bands that replaces “Charms†and will continue expanding in its functionality and convenience to our parents and students. All financial obligations and details will be communicated directly via Cut Time. How do you enroll in Cut Time (free enrollment) to receive these detailed communications? Start by providing the info to establish your profile. Start by logging in HERE.
Financial Obligations The first payment of $400 is due by the end of May. Payments may be made (Cash, Check, or Credit Card) in person or MAILED to BAHS (1901 E Albany, BA OK 74012). Checks should be payable to “BA BANDS.†Summer office hours are Monday-Thursday 9:00-4:00. Online payment info will be available in the coming days. Check a future eNews and Cut Time for detailed info to make online payments. As mentioned in the previous heading for Cut Time, all financial obligation and details will be communicated directly to our parents and guardians vis Cut Time. Attendance Communication - Attendance@BrokenArrowPride.com All members must communicate all Pride absences by emailing attendance@BrokenArrowPride.com Please remember that ALL rehearsal and performances are mandatory beginning July 25. All mini camp and rehearsal sessions prior to July 23 will allow absences based on vacation or attendance to a ‘camp’ (music camp, church camp, etc), however, ALL absences must be communicated in advance. NOTE: The Color Guard Dance Project and Performances are posted.
Pride Physicals Due by July 25 All Pride members must have a new physical on file for the 2019 season. You may choose the physician of your choice BUT MUST SUBMIT THE ATTACHED 2 PAGE OSSAA FORM. ALL physical forms must be submitted to the Mrs. Good in the band office no later than July 25.
Next BA Band Booster Club Meeting August 13 Our next Booster Club meeting will be on Tuesday, August 13 in the High School Band Hall at 7:00pm.
Drums of Summer - DCI Tour of Champions Show in Broken Arrow The 2019 DCI Show hosted in Broken Arrow will be on Tuesday, July 16 at BA's Memorial Stadium. This year’s event features many of DCI’s top groups in the WORLD: Blue Devils, Carolina Crown, The Cadets, Bluecoats, Blue Stars, Boston Crusaders, The Cavaliers, Phantom Regiment and Santa Clara Vanguard. WOW!! What an amazing line up. Tickets are on sale now at DCI.org. There are also many opportunities to volunteer. Tickets are selling fast and most of the chairback seats have already sold, get your tickets today! (All 2019 Pride members receive G.A. through the pass gate with your student ID)

INDIVIDUAL FUNDRAISER STARTED APRIL 16 - BA Bands Discount Cards Started April 16! Cards sell for $12 each with $9 going to individual account. Payment must be made upfront when cards are picked up (cash or check only). Limit of 10 cards per pick up (at least until we gauge how many are participating). CHOCOLATE FUNDRAISER - Keep an eye out on the Facebook group for a pickup time this week! Chocolate will be available for purchase at the band parent meeting May 16th at 6:00PM before the meeting and again after the meeting ends. Remember, it is $60 per box paid upfront, with half of that going into your child's account. Chocolate is ONLY sold during scheduled fundraiser pickup dates/times and band parent meetings. Cash/checks for payment only please. Important to remember - if you turn in money from selling chocolate, please mark it as a band payment so that it gets posted correctly; you will have already paid the profit upfront. Thanks so much for coming out to support the Pride Store! It sounds like we were missing some things you really wanted. How about Backpacks? Shorts? White tanks? White sweatshirts? We heard the pleas and the preorders are coming! We are just waiting for some mockups and then those preorders will go live too! There will be a super quick turnaround on those so we can have them back for the start of mandatory Pride Camp in July. While you wait, don’t forget to order your Pride Show items!
