Jazz 1 Ensemble
Congratulation son a great performance at the annual December Jazz Concert! The next Jazz 1 performance will tentatively be the TCC Jazz Festival held in late March (date still TBA)

Percussion Ensemble Concert
The Percussion Ensemble concert previously scheduled for this Friday, December 7th has been moved to Tuesday, January 15th at 7:00PM at the Broken Arrow PAC.

Concert Attire Check out Monday
All Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band 1 members will check out their concert attire after school on Monday from the uniform parents at the Uniform Room.

Basketball Band Performances for All HS Band Members
Each of the HS band classes are required to perform at the HS Basketball games. Games are assigned by class / group. Should a student be enrolled in more than one band class, they must perform at the corresponding game to fulfill their band class requirement for each class they are enrolled. Students may volunteer to attend additional games but no substitutions are permitted. Report time for each event is 6:00pm and students are to wear their Pride / Tradition Band T Shirt. For each session the band will play at the girls and boys varsity basketball games. Games are typically completed by approximately 9:15pm. The schedule is as follows:

12/4 - Tuesday - Concert Band 1 - vs Sand Springs
12/11 - Tuesday - Symphonic Band 1 - vs Union
12/18 - Tuesday - Concert Band 2 - vs Sapulpa
1/4 - Friday - Wind Ensemble - vs BTW
1/22 - Tuesday - Pride Leadership & volunteers - vs Bartlesville
1/29 - Tuesday - Wind Ensemble - vs Bixby
2/15 - Friday - Symphonic Band 2 - vs Jenks

Medication Bottles from Pride Trips
There are several unclaimed medication bottles left from the recent band trips. They are available for pickup during office hours. Any bottles not picked up by 12/7/18 will be discarded

Account Payments
Please be sure to indicated how you want payments applied to your student account. Pride, Indoor Percussion, Wind Band, or other fees need to be differentiated for deposit. This includes fundraising and Pride work payments. Thanks for your help!

Charms
As we wind down the Pride season, please be sure to check Charms for any final balances due. Student gloves, shirt, and shoe charges from band trips have been applied to the accounts. All District and All State Clinic Rehearsals & Concerts
Congratulations to all students that auditioned at the NBDA/OMEA event. We are very proud of the efforts of these talented students. Also, a special THANK YOU to all of the parent and student volunteers that help organize and run the All-District/State auditions! The following are dates of note relating to All District (NBDA) and All State (OMEA) Band.

January 11 & 12 - NBDA All District Band Clinic and Concert at Bartlesville HS
January 17-19 - OMEA All State Band Clinic and Concert at Tulsa PAC

Indoor Percussion
Rehearsal schedule for the week includes the following:

Monday, December 3rd: 4:00-9:00 PM*
*Battery: 4:00-9:00
*Front Ensemble: 4:00-5:00
Tuesday, December 4th: 3:30-6:00 PM

First Indoor Percussion Payment of $250 is due on Dec 14. Checks to Mrs. Good or the payment drop box.

E Jazz Auditions
Auditions for the 2018-19 E-Jazz Band will be held at BAHS on Wednesday (12/12) from 3:15-4:30 PM. E-Jazz is open to all band students in grades 9-12; rhythm section members (drums, bass, guitar, bass guitar, piano) are open to all fine arts students. Audition materials will be available this week in the BAHS and BA Freshman Academy Band Room(s).

December concerts and receptions are coming quickly. Donations of cookies and punch and help serving is needed for the Freshman concert on December 11th and the High School Concert on the 13th. Please sign up at this LINK to donate something or to help. No one will miss their student performing.

SECRET GARDEN CANDLE FUNDRAISER - Candles have been ordered. Delivery is anticpated to be around December 8th, possibly earlier. Watch your email and the Facebook Members and Supporters Group for updates on delivery time and pickup dates.

CHOCOLATE FUNDRAISER - Chocolate is ONLY sold during scheduled fundraiser pickup dates/times and band parent meetings. Cash/checks for payment only please. Important to remember - if you turn in money from selling chocolate, please mark it as a band payment so that it gets posted to Charms that way; you will have already paid the profit upfront. ::::::: PLEASE READ - IMPORTANT UPDATE::::::: - You MUST include your contact information (email address and phone number) on ALL fundraiser order forms before turning them in (even if the form doesn't ask for that info). Also, if you are not receiving our fundraising emails already and you participate in fundraising at all, you need to be added to that email list because that is the best way to receive current news about fundraisers; please ask to be added to that email list if you are not already on it. Finally, be sure to join the Broken Arrow Bands Members and Family Group on Facebook. We will upload fundraiser order forms and guidelines to the files section there each month once they begin.

Need a car wash? Each time the code 1219 is entered, the BA Bands program gets 20% of the sale at Legends Car Wash at Kenosha and Aspen (2300 W. Kenosha). PRIDE WORK - Earn Money For Your Band Trip Account - There are so many ways to earn money for your band trip account! Start earning money now for the 2018 marching season.

ORNAMENT AND DECAL PICKUP THURSDAY DECEMBER 13 6PM TO 6:45PM AT PAC BEFORE BAHS BAND CONCERT-. If you ordered decals and ornaments BEFORE this past Thursday, November 29, we will have those available for pickup BEFORE the high school band concert on Thursday, December 13 in the lobby of the PAC. We will be there 6 to 6:45PM. PLEASE plan to pickup at that time if you need these items before Christmas.

If you are a freshman parent, we ask that you stop by the PAC to pick up on Dec 13 6 to 6:45pm even if you won't be attending the concert or ask a high school parent to pick up for you! Thanks!For those who ordered on Nov 29 at Pride Store, we will likely have your orders ready for pickup on Dec 13 also, but we will keep you posted as that date gets closer.

STREET SIGNS - Pre-Ordered Street Signs will be available for pickup in January/February timeframe. We will keep you posted when they are available.
