Pride Summer Conditioning - Every Tuesday and Thursday!! We are very excited to partner with the athletic department this summer to offer our students access to the many resources at BA. Cody Ellett, the Director of Strength and Conditioning at BA is developing a summer workout specifically for the Pride! The workouts will assist our students with cardiovascular fitness, upper body strength, as well as core strength and balance. The Pride workouts will be in the Indoor facility each Tuesday and Thursday from 4:30-6:00pm. All hornline and battery are expected to attend. These conditioning sessions are FREE of charge.

Band Finance Office - Charms Charms accounts are ready for all Pride members. Login is "brokenarrowband" and your password is your student's ID#. Payments can be made via PayPal through Charms, but PayPal will charge a 3.5% service fee. Cash, Credit Card and Check payments can be made to the Fine Arts Finance Office during regular business hours, mailed to the school, or dropped into the payment box in the hallway near the orchestra room. Please visit Charms info pages to update your personal information where it is lacking and register your volunteer hours. This will keep us in touch with you. The first payment of $200 is PAST due. The June payment is $400. Band Summer Office hours are Monday through Thursday from 9:00-4:00pm. NOTE: The additional Color Guard fee is expected to be $150, subject to final budgeting changes.

Attendance Communication - Attendance@BrokenArrowPride.com All members must communicate all Pride absences by emailing attendance@BrokenArrowPride.com Please remember that ALL rehearsal and performances are mandatory beginning July 23. All mini camp and rehearsal sessions prior to July 23 will allow absences based on vacation or attendance to a ‘camp’ (music camp, church camp, etc), however, ALL absences must be communicated in advance. NOTE: The Color Guard Dance Project and Performances are posted.
Pride Physicals Due by July 20 All Pride members must have a new physical on file for the 2018 season. You may choose the physician of your choice BUT MUST SUBMIT THE ATTACHED 2 PAGE OSSAA FORM. The BA Bands intend to host a physical session with one of our sponsors onsite at BAHS in the month of June or July; however, ALL physical forms must be submitted to the Mrs. Good in the band office no later than July 20.
Online Participation Forms - Rank One The Pride uses an online system to submit all required school district forms (ie. medical release, participation form, member contract, media release, etc). These forms will be available for access in the coming weeks and need to be completed by July 23. Once the 2018 forms are online and ready for your access, we will publicize the access info in an upcoming eNews.
Next Band Parent Meeting August 14 Our next band parent meeting will be on Tuesday, August 14 in the High School Band Hall at 7:00pm.
Concert Band Instrument Check Out The date for issuing Concert Band Instruments for the summer is TBA. Once wind band audition results are posted, we will then be able to confirm the date that instruments will be available to check out for the summer.
Drums of Summer - DCI Tour of Champions Show in Broken Arrow The 2018 DCI Show hosted in Broken Arrow will be on Tuesday, July 17 at BA's Memorial Stadium. This year’s event features many of DCI’s top groups in the WORLD: Blue Devils, Blue Knights, Bluecoats, Boston Crusaders The Cavaliers, Phantom Regiment and Santa Clara Vanguard. WOW!! What an amazing line up. Tickets are on sale now at DCI.org. There are also many opportunities to volunteer. Contact VP of Special Events at BASpecialEvents@gmail.com for more info…. Tickets are selling fast and most of the chairback seats have already sold, get your tickets today! (All 2018 Pride members receive G.A. through the pass gate with your student ID)

OPERATIONS Appreciate the great turnout at the volunteer fair, and all the parents that signed up! We have a couple projects in the works: cleaning out the Pride Force 1 trailer, assembling new music stands, and some maintenance on supplies under the stadium.
Those that supplied phone numbers will be added to our GroupMe text group with dates and times of future projects in the coming weeks. Looking forward to our first get together of the summer season!

At the car show, we have many opportunities for parents, family members, and Pride members to help. It will be fun!!! We have Kid's Zone, Concession assistance, runners for judging, signs, and more! (These summer volunteer hours for students can be used for the 2018-19 NHS hours. Students can have up to 10 NHS hours from summer activities).

NEW!! PRIDE CAR WASH FUNDRAISER IS BACK! TWO LOCATIONS - SATURDAY, JULY 14 10AM - 3PM Mark you calendars! We will be holding a Pride of BA Car Wash Fundraiser on Saturday, July 14! We will wash cars at Wendy’s (County Line/Kenosha) and Ace Hardware (101st/Aspen). This is a group fundraiser that benefits the entire band.
ALL Pride Members will be required to volunteer for one shift at one of the locations for the car wash. These times/locations will be assigned by section/group.. Mr. Davis will send more information out about that later. We also will need parent volunteers and many supplies like soap, sponges, towels, hoses and more. We will have a Sign Up Genius out very soon for these needs. Please stay tuned to Facebook, E-News, and email. 1907 SOAP FUNDRAISER - NEW! This fundraiser has begun and ends on Thursday, June 28 at the end of conditioning practice (all order forms and money need to be turned in by the end of conditioning practice to Debbie Gowriluk that day, no later please). Because the soaps will be specially made for us, these orders will take several weeks to be returned to us due to the amount of time it takes for the soap to cure. Order forms are available in the band office reception area at the high school and in the Broken Arrow Band Members and Supporters Facebook Group files section. There are several soaps to choose from; one of the popular ones is the charcoal soap that teenagers love to use on their skin these days for cleansing. This is the same soap that is sold in the 1907 store in downtown BA for this same price, but the owners is giving her a large percentage for fundraising for your student account.
SONIC CARDS FUNDRAISER - NEW! This fundraiser has begun and ends when we sell out of cards! We have a limited supply of cards available for purchase ; you will need to contact Debbie by calling or texting her if you have her number already or emailing her at BABandFundraising@gmail.com to get that info to arrange a time to purchase them. The cards must be pre-paid, and the cost is $5 per card. There is no limit to the number of cards you can purchase; take as many as you want (remember: no refunds). Cards will sell for $5, so they are 100% profit to your student account. Available on a first come basis, and when they are gone, they are gone.
DISCOUNT CARDS - Discount cards are still available for checking out! To pick up discount cards outside of scheduled fundraiser pickup dates/times, please contact Debbie Gowriluk at BABandFundraising@gmail.com. This is the ONLY fundraiser we offer that you do not pay for upfront. You can check out up to 5 cards the first time. Once those cards are sold, you can check out more cards at the same time you turn in the money for the sold cards to Debbie. IMPORTANT INFO: If you checked out cards and need more, you need to turn the money in to Debbie to get more cards; if you turn the money in to Mrs. Good, there WILL be a delay in getting more cards because she will need to let me know that the money has been received and recorded before I can check out additional cards to you.
CHOCOLATE FUNDRAISER - Note: Chocolate is ONLY sold during scheduled fundraiser pickup dates/times and band parent meetings. Cash/checks for payment only please. Important to remember - if you turn in money from selling chocolate, please mark it as a band payment so that it gets posted to Charms that way; you will have already paid the profit upfront. ::::::: PLEASE READ ::::::: - You MUST include your contact information (email address and phone number) on ALL fundraiser order forms before turning them in (even if the form doesn't ask for that info). Also, if you are not receiving our fundraising emails already and you participate in fundraising at all, you need to be added to that email list because that is the best way to receive current news about fundraisers; please ask to be added to that email list if you are not already on it.

If you turned in a pre-order form and payment, you will receive an email confirming the order. Please save the email and/or print the attached PDF confirmation so that you may have record of what you ordered. Thanks!
Please be aware you will/should receive multiple emails if you turned in multiple pre-order forms. For example, if you a ordered backpack and decal (2 separate forms), you will receive an email for each one.Please remember we have volunteers who enter these orders and generate the auto emails. There may be some time lapse (hours, or a few days, normally) between emails received for separate orders. Also, if the email address is not legible on the form, we may not be able to get the confirmation to you.
PRE-ORDERS and FORMS: We offer a variety of shirts, luggage tags, dog tags, decals, show buttons, ornaments, street signs and more. We will have these forms anytime we open the Pride Store. You may also print these forms from the band website. CLICK HERE for all order forms.
