Color Guard Dance Project Performances - This SATURDAY!
Make plans to attend a special production performed by the 2018 Broken Arrow Pride Color Guard! The guard has been busy training, staging and choreographing an approximate 30 minute production to the music of Annie Lennox. The Dance Project Performances are on Saturday Night for 2 shows only in the Broken Arrow HS Field House (enter the Field House Lobby from the SOUTH Entrance - at the back of the school). Performances are at 7:00 & 8:00PM on Saturday, June 9th and my be attended with a $5 Donation. You won’t want to miss this amazing production complete with lighting, costuming and performer props. See you on Saturday night!




Pride Summer Conditioning - Begins This Tuesday!!
We are very excited to partner with the athletic department this summer to offer our students access to the many resources at BA. Cody Ellett, the Director of Strength and Conditioning at BA is developing a summer workout specifically for the Pride! The workouts will assist our students with cardiovascular fitness, upper body strength, as well as core strength and balance. The Pride workouts will be in the Indoor facility each Tuesday and Thursday from 4:30-6:00pm beginning on June 5th. All hornline and battery are expected to attend. These conditioning sessions are FREE of charge.

Drums of Summer - DCI Tour of Champions Show in Broken Arrow
The 2018 DCI Show hosted in Broken Arrow will be on Tuesday, July 17 at BA's Memorial Stadium. This year’s event features many of DCI’s top groups in the WORLD: Blue Devils, Blue Knights, Bluecoats, Boston Crusaders The Cavaliers, Phantom Regiment and Santa Clara Vanguard. WOW!! What an amazing line up. Tickets are on sale now at DCI.org. There are also many opportunities to volunteer. Contact VP of Special Events at BASpecialEvents@gmail.com for more info…. Tickets are selling fast and most of the chairback seats have already sold, get your tickets today! (All 2018 Pride members receive G.A. through the pass gate with your student ID)

2018 DCI Tour of Champions - Broken Arrow will host the 2018 DCI Tour of Champions on Tuesday, July 17th at the Broken Arrow Memorial Stadium. We have several jobs available and would love to have you join us! To volunteer for this event, click on the following link , CLICK HERE

OPERATIONS
Appreciate the great turnout at the volunteer fair, and all the parents that signed up! We have a couple projects in the works: cleaning out the Pride Force 1 trailer, assembling new music stands, and some maintenance on supplies under the stadium.

Those that supplied phone numbers will be added to our GroupMe text group with dates and times of future projects in the coming weeks. Looking forward to our first get together of the summer season!

At the car show, we have many opportunities for parents, family members, and Pride members to help. It will be fun!!! We have Kid's Zone, Concession assistance, runners for judging, signs, and more! (These summer volunteer hours for students can be used for the 2018-19 NHS hours. Students can have up to 10 NHS hours from summer activities).

DISCOUNT CARDS - To pick up discount cards outside of scheduled fundraiser pickup dates/times, please contact Debbie Gowriluk at BABandFundraising@gmail.com. This is the ONLY fundraiser we offer that you do not pay for upfront. You can check out up to 5 cards the first time. Once those cards are sold, you can check out more cards at the same time you turn in the money for the sold cards to Debbie. IMPORTANT INFO: If you checked out cards and need more, you need to turn the money in to Debbie to get more cards; if you turn the money in to Mrs. Good, there WILL be a delay in getting more cards because she will need to let me know that the money has been received and recorded before I can check out additional cards to you.


CHOCOLATE FUNDRAISER - The next opportunity to purchase chocolate will be mid-June during the mini-camp (exact date and time to be determined still)  Note: Chocolate is ONLY sold during scheduled fundraiser pickup dates/times and band parent meetings.  Cash/checks for payment only please. Important to remember - if you turn in money from selling chocolate, please mark it as a band payment so that it gets posted to Charms that way; you will have already paid the profit upfront. JUNE FUNDRAISERS - We have scheduled 1907 Soaps for June. This is the store that is in downtown BA, and their soaps are handmade to order and incredible! They also design/sell t-shirts, so we are checking into having a special shirt or two added to this fundraiser as well. Also scheduled for June are Sonic cards. We anticipate beginning these fundraisers during the June mini-camp, with the exact date to be determined still.

Also, if you are not receiving our fundraising emails already and you participate in fundraising at all, you need to be added to that email list because that is the best way to receive current news about fundraisers; please ask to be added to that email list if you are not already on it.

PRIDE WORK - Earn Money For Your Band Trip Account - There are so many ways to earn money for your band trip account! Start earning money now for the 2018 marching season.

Many of these opportunities go quickly. The work sign-ups are sent via email to those on the Pride Work email list. Please ask to get on the Pride Work email list by writing to bapridework@gmail.com.

PRIDE STORE THANKS!
Thanks to everyone for coming out to our Pride Store this past week and at the May meeting! We hope you had a great experience! Thanks so much for supporting the Pride by shopping at the Pride Store!And thanks to our trooper volunteers who helped make these Pride Store events a great success!

We plan to open the Pride Store again during the next Mini-Camp in mid June. We will have more information on dates and times soon.

NEW! PRE-ORDER EMAIL CONFIRMATIONS!
This year we are providing a confirmation email for EACH order form completed and paid. If you turned in a pre-order form and payment, you will receive an email confirming the order. Please save the email and/or print the attached PDF confirmation so that you may have record of what you ordered. Thanks!

Please be aware you will/should receive multiple emails if you turned in multiple pre-order forms. For example, if you a ordered backpack and decal (2 separate forms), you will receive an email for each one.Please remember we have volunteers who enter these orders and generate the auto emails. There may be some time lapse (hours, or a few days, normally) between emails received for separate orders. Also, if the email address is not legible on the form, we may not be able to get the confirmation to you.

DUE DATE PASSED ON SOME PRE-ORDERS:
The due date for pre-ordering Duffle Bags, Backpacks, and Sport Shorts was last Friday, June 1. We plan to deliver them in July. We will let everyone know via e-news, social media, and/or email when they are ready for pick-up!

PRE-ORDERS and FORMS: We offer a variety of shirts, luggage tags, dog tags, decals, show buttons, ornaments, street signs and more.
