PRIDE STORE AND FUNDRAISING TABLE OPEN THIS THURSDAY, JUNE 8
When: Thursday, June 8
Time: 4-6PM
Place: BA High School Band Hall (near the band room)

*Cash or check made payable to BAHS Bands only. No credit cards at this time.
*Turn in order forms, purchase items from the Pride Store and pickup/turn-in individual fundraisers.
*Pride of BA Cuffs/Bracelet order forms are due July 15….stop by and order yours on Thursday!
*Order Pride Jerseys, Show Shirts, Luggage and Dog Tags, Ornaments and so much more!
*Pick up new Cookie Dough individual fundraiser information, pickup/return discount cards, pre-order jerky, and pick up chocolate/pretzels/almonds.
*We hope to see you there!


MARK YOUR CALENDARS! GEORGIA’S ARTS AND CRAFTS FUNDRAISER ON MONDAY EVENING, JULY 10!
We will have more information on this event soon! This will be great for your family, neighbors, siblings and friends to enjoy ceramic painting for an evening and support BA Bands in the process. This would also be a fun event to get your sections together before Pride Camp begins in late July!Georgia’s has as its mission to create a fun environment while providing artistic opportunities! Georgia’s is located at 71st and Aspen.


GOURMET COOKIE DOUGH FUNDRAISER
Our next fundraiser begins this week. It is Gourmet Cookie Dough. There are 10 kinds of cookie dough offered. The dough can be frozen for 1 year or refrigerated for 6 months, and is even shelf stable at room temperature for 21 days because it has 93% of the moisture taken out, which is what draws bacteria. We’ve had parents asking for cookie dough as a fundraiser for a couple of years now - here it is! This fundraiser will begin on Thursday, June 8, and end on Thursday, June 22. There will be full color brochures/order forms available for pickup at the high school on Thursday from 4-6pm outside the band room. Extra brochures/order forms will be put in the band office in the reception area on the table afterwards. You can also email BABandFundraising@gmail.com for a copy after June 8.

RUSTIC CUFF FUNDRAISER
The Rustic Cuff bracelets from our spring fundraiser are here. We still have several that have not picked up their orders. Please email Debbie at BABandFundraising@gmail.com and make arrangements to do so. Extras from this fundraiser will be sold only after all the ordered ones have been picked up, and only on a first come basis, no holds, once we announce they are for sale.

CHOCOLATE BARS, ALMONDS, PRETZEL RODS
We have bars, almonds, and pretzel rods available for purchase. You can also get them by texting Debbie or emailing her at BABandFundraising@gmail.com. All chocolate must be paid for upfront, and the profit will be turned in to Mrs. Good to credit your student account. Note: Any money that you turn in to Mrs. Good yourself from your chocolate sales should be clearly marked as a band payment since your profit will have already been turned in upfront. Our next scheduled pickup time at the high school will be on June 8 from 4-6pm.

BEEF JERKY STICKS
Jerky sticks are available by pre-order and pre-purchase through the band only; the turnaround time to get them is quick - usually about a week once we place an order (orders will be placed at the beginning of each month; the next order will go in at the beginning of July). DISCOUNT CARD FUNDRAISER
Discount cards are still available. There are 17 merchants on the card. The cost is $15, and the card can be used repeatedly through June 30, 2018. Merchants include restaurants and food vendors (Los Mariachi's Mexican Restaurant, Ron's Hamburgers, IHOP, EspressOh!, Savannah's at Forest Ridge Golf Club, Wendy's, Rollo-O's Bakery, Cici's Pizza, Not Your Grandma's Cupcakes, Kona Ice, and City Blends Smoothie Cafe). Several stores in downtown BA are included, all with great items for you, for your children, for your pets, for your home, and for gift giving (On the Corner, 1907, Plum Wild Boutique, and Simplicity). And for your feet and your athletic wear needs, there is Fleet Feet Sports.

Five cards can be checked out the first time. Once those cards are sold, you will be able to get more cards when the money is turned in from those previous sales. This fundraiser will be available through July 31. This will be the largest profit margin on a fundraiser that we offer this season.

We are considering setting locations to have Pride members do group sales of discount cards from where profits from the sales for each shift.  If your member would be interested in being a part of this during June and July, please email BABandFundraising@gmail.com and let us know.


EXTRA RUSTIC CUFFS FROM PREVIOUS FUNDRAISERS FOR SALE!
We have a limited supply of Rustic Cuffs from the two previous fundraisers held that we are selling at cost (there will be no profit added to your student account). We will have these available on June 8 at the high school. You can also email Debbie at BABandFundraising@gmail.com to get them earlier.

IMPORTANT NOTES REGARDING FUNDRAISERS!!!
There have been several fundraisers turned in lately that have had NO contact information on them. You MUST include your contact information on the fundraiser before you turn your order form in to us. Without that information, we have no way to contact you if there is a problem with your order and to let you know your order has come in. We do not have access to any school records, so we cannot look up your information to be able to contact you; we rely solely on you to provide that information to us. Also, you need to let us know if you are fundraising for Pride or for Europe; if it is not specified, we will be putting the funds towards Pride.

Drums of Summer:  Broken Arrow will host the 2017 DCI show on Tuesday, July 18th at Broken Arrow Memorial Stadium.  We have several jobs available and would love to have you join us!  To volunteer for this event, CLICK HERE!  WE NEED EVERYONE TO HELP OUT WITH THIS EVENT!

PRIDE STORE PRE-ORDER FORMS NOW AVAILABLE - We have several Pride items we have offered for quite a few years. These items are well-loved by many students and parents and have become collectibles and traditions! The order forms for Show Shirts, GoBA shirts, Show Buttons, Show Luggage Tags, Show Dog Tags, Show Street Signs, Decal, Ornaments, and Duffle Bags may be found on the BA Bands website by going to "Resources" and then "The Pride Store" or just CLICK HERE.   (For some short descriptions of our standard pre-order items, be sure and read the bottom of Page 4 of the Fundraising and Pride Store Schedule and Information 2017!)

STUDENT SHOW SHIRT AND BUTTON INCLUDED IN FEES - Each Pride student will receive one show shirt and one show button which is included in their band fees. There is no need to fill out any forms for their included items. These items will be distributed to the band students sometime in late September or early October. Any extra shirts or buttons for your student or for parents, friends, and family members must be purchased by filling out an order form. NEW PRE-ORDER! PRIDE OF BROKEN ARROW METAL CUFF & SPARKLE STRETCH BRACELET -
This new Pride of BA jewelry is pre-ordered with delivery in September. We are excited about these! Buy a set or a few for your family and friends. They are $15 each or 2 for $25. They are great to stack and wear for all of our Pride events/competitions, football games, or just for wearing and showing your Pride spirit everyday! FYI --We have TWO SEPERATE ORDER FORMS for these new spirit jerseys. (The order forms look very much alike!) One order form is for the style with "PRIDE OF BROKEN ARROW" on the back and the other "BROKEN ARROW BANDS" on back.
Orders are due in August with delivery in September.

PURCHASE BAND PHOTOS ONLINE
Our band photographers have taken wonderful pictures of our kids at practice, in competitions, in parades and so much more. These pictures can now be purchased online only. We will no longer have the photos at the Pride Store. Ordering online is easy and you can see ALL of the photos you wish to see. Go to http://pridepictures.dotphoto.com . All profits go to our band booster account!

Volunteer Grants: Did you know that some companies pay volunteer grants for their employees who volunteer hours for organizations. Is your company one of those? Do you work for Walmart, DirecTV, IBM or State Farm? Those are 4 companies of the many who offer volunteer grants. Check with your HR department! This is a great opportunity that allows your hard work to benefit BA Bands! Most of these grants are around $500. Turn your volunteer hours into money!

If you have a contact at a company that might be interested in sponsoring the Pride, let us know!  We have several levels of sponsorship, we have general sponsorships and special event sponsors.

These include but are not limited to: BAConcessions@gmail.com; bapridework@hotmail.com; BABandFundRaising@gmail.com;; BASpecialEvents@gmail.com; and BAStadiumCleanup@gmail.com.

If you see any of these emails in your Junk or Spam folder, add the email address for those emails to your contact list. That should ensure you receive future emails correctly. If you wish to be removed from any of these mailing lists, send a message to the appropriate address and ask to be removed.
