Popsicles! It is time again to collect “POP ICE” brand or similar popsicles to give the kids during Pride camp in July and August. We will be accepting (non frozen) packages at the June parent meeting.

V.E.S.T. (Visual Effects Support Team) is looking for new team members and will be using the Remind app to send out notifications when help is needed with uniform and flag sewing, cutting, washing and inventory. If you would like to receive these, please text “@vest20” to 81010.

RUSTIC CUFF UPDATE- There has been a bit of snag with the remaining Black Emerson Cuffs. We are working with Rustic Cuff to get the rest of these as soon as possible. At this time, I do NOT have an exact date as to when we will be able to pick these up. More information coming to you as soon as I have it!

PRIDE DISCOUNT CARDS--The due date for discount cards is Thursday, June 30. All money and cards must be turned back in no later than June 30. For your convenience, they can be turned in at the band parent meeting on June 28. Please make every effort to sell the cards you have checked out! CHOCOLATE FOR SALE--We have placed another order for chocolate bars and almonds; it should be here early this week. We will send out a pickup time and location through the fundraising email list once that is set. If you would like to pre-order any of the chocolate bars or almonds, please email BABandWFC@gmail.com. All chocolate bars and almonds must be paid for when you pick them up. Please note: When this current order is gone, the new rules for paying for chocolate bars and almonds will go into effect for all future orders, where you will pay for both cost and profit upfront, rather than just cost.

CHAMPIONSHIP SHIRTS
2015 Pride members who have not picked up their free Championship T-shirt need to pick it up at the June band parent meeting. This is the last day we will hold these shirts for Pride Members. If you are not sure if you have picked up your shirt, we will have a list at the meeting. The list is currently packed away in the closet with the t-shirts so we will not know who has or who has not picked up shirts until the night of the meeting.

Rose parade dog tags, Rose parade luggage tags and the white personalized car decals from the first order have been made and will be available for pick up at the June band parent meeting. Any orders received after the original deadline will be added to the August order. Please make sure to get your orders in no later than the August band parent meeting. You don’t want to miss out! They look great!!

June is the last band parent meeting before Pride Camp starts. Be sure to stop in and stock up on white t-shirts!!

The Pride Store will be open again at the June band parent meeting.  We will be open from 6:15-6:50 and will reopen after the meeting. We will be clearing the room at 6:50 so that everyone can get seated before the meeting starts.

ROSE PARADE FUNDRAISING
July 9th: Movie Night on the Field
Our next feature will be HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON. Posters and social media will be coming out soon. Please be sure to share the event on social media and personally invite friends and family to join us. If anyone is involved in an organization for children, we encourage you to spread the word there. We will need volunteers to work ticket sales, concessions, and clean up again.

July 16th: Parking for Taste of Summer
The BA Chamber has given us another opportunity to earn money by running their parking lot for Taste of Summer. A relatively small crew is needed and I have the majority of volunteers. It would be helpful to have 2-4 more people. This is the same day as the car wash so no Pride members can work this. If you are able to work from 8:00am to 3:30pm that day please email baroseparade@gmail.com. (This does require prolonged standing.)

JULY 17th: Inaugural Golf Tournament
We are starting to see registration trickle in but let me say again...WE NEED YOUR HELP SECURING TEAMS TO PLAY IN THE TOURNAMENT!!! I’M BEGGING HERE FOLKS, PLEASE CONTACT YOUR FRIENDS, CO-WORKERS, ETC AND HELP US SIGN UP TEAMS. The event will be held at the Battlecreek Golf Club. CLICK HERE for information on the event and registration form. We ask you to talk to your friends, neighbors, family members, and co-workers and invite them to participate in the tournament. If you would like to serve on a variety of committees to make the event a success please email Marci Hinnen at baroseparade@gmail.com. If your business or someone you know of would be interested in sponsoring the golf tournament CLICK HERE for detailed information on sponsorship. We NEED every member’s family to help us find teams to play and companies to sponsor this event in order to make it a huge success. ANDY’S COUPONS ARE SOLD OUT!
Thank you everyone who participated in the group fundraiser to sell Andy’s coupons. We no longer have any coupons to sell. IF YOU CHECKED OUT ANY CARDS THE MONEY IS DUE NO LATER THAN THE JUNE 28TH BAND PARENT MEETING. SPECIAL EVENTS
Drums of Summer prep is in full swing! Please click on THIS LINK to volunteer for this event on Wednesday July 20th.  Ticket Sales start at 3pm, most other jobs from 5-6pm.  WE NEED YOU!

Cut off to reserve a volunteer t-shirt will be July 5th. This gives us just enough time to order those and write the schedule before the event so please sign up before then. You only need to fill the form out once.

We have a new Facebook page for Drums Of Summer and need to get the word out to all the former fans and followers. www.facebook.com/drumsofsummerba is where all the info about the show will be posted. Please go like, follow, and share to help us up the page views and sell as many tickets for this show as we can to support the Pride!

We are putting together a list of companies that can help us by providing funds if pride families use their services. For example, Protection 1 Security Solutions (through LaShona McWhirt) can donate $50 to your individual account if you switch or start new security service with them. If you are part of a company that offers this type of fundraising, please let us know. We are hoping to have a list of such opportunities for the next band parent meeting.

We are looking for restaurants that would like to help feed the Pride in the fall. We feed the Pride before every Friday football game and several Saturdays during the season. If you have a contact at a local restaurant, let us know!
