Directors Notes
St. Louis BOA Super Regional Follow up In the days since we have returned from the St. Louis Super Regional, there have been many notes and letters from outside our Broken Arrow Band Family congratulating and complementing the band's performances and behavior. I am particularly proud of the notes we receive that reflect on the positive interactions that people have with our BA Pride members and their families. The following is an excerpt from one of those communications:
"As a member of a rather small band who went to yesterday's competition merely to see where we'd rank among the local bands, I naturally paid more attention to the crowd during the local bands' performances yesterday. I wanted to give a special thanks to the Broken Arrow Band Members and Parents for their etiquette yesterday. Too often after a non nationally known band's performance the stadium goes completely silent but for the standing ovations from the members of your crowd regardless of the quality of the performance. I just wanted to ensure that as a whole you were aware that your actions did not go unnoticed. Nothing but respect for your group on and off the field. Thank you very much for making our small band feel special, even on a day where compared to others we were underwhelming."
Congratulations Pride! ...We are proud of your First Class effort both off and on the field!
