Directors Notes



St. Louis Super Regional Champions!
Congratulations to the Pride for their outstanding performances at the BOA Super Regional in St. Louis. The Pride finished in first place and was named the SUPER REGIONAL CHAMPION in the finals competition. In the Finals competition, the Pride also earned awards for Outstanding Music Performance, Outstanding Visual Performance and Outstanding General Effect award. The Pride also did extremely well in the preliminary competition by winning the Class AAAA Championship, Outstanding Music Performance, Outstanding Visual Performance and Outstanding General Effect Awards. Please take a moment to congratulate a Pride member for the amazing efforts this season and continue to encourage them in their quest for performance excellence.

Pride Send Off Dress Rehearsal for Grand Nationals
The Pride Send Off Dress Rehearsal will be on Monday, November 9. This will be an excellent opportunity to see the final version of the Pride’s show “ Wild Blue Orchid“ before they depart for the BOA Grand National Championship in Indianapolis, IN.


Student Account Payments
The final payments for this season's Pride members are due on November 3 at our next Band Parent Meeting. Please refer to your Charms account and/or Mrs. Good for any info to finalize your remaining payment for this year's Pride season.


OBA Finals Reserved Tickets
Ticket reservations may be made by sending payment to the band office to Lisa Good. Tickets are $10 each, payable by check or cash. No student account transfers will be accepted for payment. Paid tickets will be placed on the reservation list on an as received basis. All seats are in the reserved section and no particular row can be requested. Tickets may also be purchased at the stadium on contest day, but can't be guaranteed to be placed in the "BA Section." Tickets will be ready for pick up once we receive them from OBA (typically 2 weeks prior to the contest)

FUNCTIONS
Washer parents:  All Uniforms should have been returned by Tuesday Evening.

Junior Parents:  Senior Night is Friday night, November 6.  If you would like to donate to senior night, money can be left in the drop box for payments.  Please put them in an envelope and mark them "Senior Night."

The Holiday Wreath Fundraiser has begun! Your child will earn $10 for every wreath sold. These are LIVE wreaths, they will be delivered the week of Thanksgiving, and they are GORGEOUS! FLAG YOUR YARD FUNDRAISER!- Support Indoor Percussion by having your yard FLAGGED four times a year! This is a great way to show your patriotism and support our kids! For more information please CLICK HERE for the order form!


PRIDE STORE
Store Hours This Week - Thursday, 6:15-8:15 at the Pride Closet!

We are taking orders for Show Buttons, Show Street Signs, Show Ornaments, Show Dog Tags and Show Luggage Tags. If you need an order form, send us an e-mail!!

Show Buttons have all been passed out.  If you did not receive your order, we need to know ASAP!  You can place additional orders for Show Buttons until this Thursday, October 22nd.

Still need a Show Shirt or Hoodie?  We are considering another order.  If you would like to purchase additional Show Shirts or Hoodies, please email us immediately with what you would like!

OPERATIONS
Meetings are MONDAY - FRIDAY @ 6:00pm and SATURDAYs @ 9:00am at the stadium. We are making great progress on the props, only a few weeks to go! We will be using the same shirts as last year so stop by Yvonne’s and purchase one if your are a part of the operations team.

CONCESSIONS
The next home varsity football game is Friday, October 30th.  We need a full staff for this game.

Senior night is Friday, November 6th.  Quite a few of the regular concession volunteers are Senior parents.  We need non-Senior parents, alumni, parents, and members to help at this game!

OSSAA State Marching Contest - Wednesday, October 28 - During the school day. 8am-3pm
