Directors Notes

Wind Ensemble Portraits for Midwest Clinic
The HS Wind Ensemble will meet at the HS on Wednesday at 5:00pm to bus to the Philbrook Art Museum.  The Wind Ensemble will have their group portrait session in the Philbrook Gardens and will return to BA by 7:00pm.

Pride and Concert Band Instrument User Fees PAST DUE
All User Fees that have not been submitted will have that charge deducted from the Member's Student Account.


OBA Finals Reserved Tickets
Ticket Requests may be placed beginning Tuesday for OBA Finals Tickets. The BA Band will be able to secure a limited number of tickets in the"BA Section". Tickets are $10 each and will assigned on a first come, first served basis. Tickets may also be purchased at the stadium on contest day, but can't be guaranteed to be placed in the "BA Section." Place ticket orders with Mrs. Good at the HS Band Office. Tickets will be delivered once we receive them from OBA (typically 2 weeks prior to the contest).

FUNCTIONS
Senior night will be Friday night November 6.

• JUNIOR PARENTS: Thursday, September 24 there will be a meeting in the band room to discuss the details for hosting the Senior reception after the game

• SENIOR PARENTS: One baby picture and up to four other band related pictures of your senior must be submitted by Monday, October 12. Email them to bafunctions@gmail.com Or hard copies with your name on them can be left in an envelope in the band office.

Uniform reminders:

• No Food or Drink is allowed in the Shako box, in the uniform garment bags, or in the kids while in uniform!  Thank you for your cooperation with this!

• Washer parents: please have all uniforms back to the uniform room Tuesday night. There are many repairs/adjustments that must be made before the Union game this week!!
  

BAI Volunteer Room: If you would like to bring food or contribute money to the volunteer hospitality room for BAI, send an email to bafunctions@gmail.com.

OPERATIONS
Meetings are MONDAY - FRIDAY @ 6:00pm and SATURDAYs @ 9:00am at the stadium. We are making great progress on the props, only a few weeks to go! We will be using the same shirts as last year so stop by Yvonne’s and purchase one if your are a part of the operations team.

Concessions
Looking for six more volunteers to complete staffing in all areas for the BA vs Union home game. Come out and have some fun with this great group of parents, family members, and friends!

For those who are signed up for the Union game, an informational email will see sent out by Tuesday with details that will hopefully answers any questions that may be out there.

Broken Arrow Invitational - Saturday, October 3
CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP NOW TO HELP WITH BAI.

Only one week left to get signed up and reserve your staff shirt.  You must sign up before Sept 18th to reserve an Event Staff shirt for yourself. Pride kids are allowed to work in the afternoon and are encouraged to do so. They must sign up using this form and choose Pride Member from the pull down menu. Guard members should check with Wes first for practice schedule that day.

OSSAA State Marching Contest - Wednesday, October 28 - During the school day. 8am-3pm

Road trip Inspection

Hercules Tires, at 805 W Kenosha ((918) 251-1987), is offering a free vehicle inspection for all Pride families. With the driving season upon us, Hercules wants to make sure your family cars are road ready. Stop by anytime, mention you are with the BA Pride, and they will take care of you!

Sponsors Needed

Speaking of feeding the Pride, we are still looking for a few more restaurants who can help us with food. If you have contacts at a restaurant, please let us know!

We are also looking for other companies to partner with us through sponsorships.

Volunteer Grants

Did you know that some companies pay volunteer grants for their employees who volunteer hours for organizations. Is your company one of those? Do you work for Walmart, DirecTV, IBM or State Farm? Those are 4 companies of the many who offer volunteer grants. Check with your HR department!
