We are pleased to announce that the Broken Arrow Bands have two bands that have been invited to perform at the 2016 Oklahoma Music Educators Convention this January in Tulsa. The Broken Arrow HS Symphonic Band 1, conducted by Dr. Kelli Pence and the Broken Arrow HS Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Mr. Adam Wiencken were both selected as Honor Groups for the 2016 OMEA Convention. School Transportation for School Activities It is the policy of the school that all students travel to and from school activities via school provided transportation. Therefore, students may not ride to a school event with their parents and meet the band at the travel site. Nor, may students be released to parents to travel home in a personal vehicle instead of returning to BAHS on the provided school transportation. While this may not be the most convenient method of picking up your child from a school event, it does maintain consistency, safety and accountability for each band member on a school trip.
