HS Wind Ensemble Details for the trip to Chicago to perform at the Midwest Clinic are now underway. While the final trip details are still being gathered, the decision to lock in air travel was made following the overwhelming support from the Wind Ensemble travel survey. A detailed payment schedule is being compiled and will be shared directly via the "Remind" communication service. If you are a HS Wind Ensemble Parent or Student and aren't subscribed to the "Remind" communication service, contact Mr. Davis at ddavis1@baschools.org.
First Wind Ensemble deposit - to lock in many of our travel arrangements we need to receive an initial trip payment deposit for $150. Payments may be hand delivered to the music office from 9:00-4:00pm on Monday through Thursday. Pride Information There are several Pride Forms that are due in the band office no later than July 23. The Pride Membership Agreements have been distributed to the Horn Line Members and Color Guard that attended last Thursday's mini camp. If you have not received a copy, they are available to pick up in the band office OR may be picked up at your next summer rehearsal. The following forms are included in the Membership Packet that is due no later than July 23.

- Student Physical Form (your physician may provide a different form from their medical office)
Pride Account Payments / Charms / First Payment Due Until notified in an upcoming eNews, all payments to 2015 Pride New-Member Student Accounts must be made by delivering to the BAHS Band Office OR by mailing to BAHS. New Pride Member Charms accounts are still under construction to be set up for each member. We will make an eNews notification once the Charms accounts are set up for the 2015 Pride season. The first payment of $235 is due. The June payment is $300. Band Summer Office hours are Monday through Thursday from 9:00-4:00pm.

Drums of Summer - DCI Show in Broken Arrow The 2015 DCI Show hosted in Broken Arrow will be on Tuesday, July 21 at BA's Memorial Stadium. This year's event features: Blue Knights, Blue Stars, The Cadets, Colts, Crossmen, Jersey Surf, Mandarins, Oregron Crusaders and Pacific Crest. WOW!! What an amazing line up. Pride Horn Line Mini Camp July 14-16 The Pride Horn Line will meet this week at the HS Band Hall and Practice Field from 12:00-5:00 on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. All Horn Line members are to "dress out" in appropriate marching attire and white T-shirts.

Please note, this charter is not organized or affiliated with Broken Arrow Public Schools, BA Bands or the Band Parent Association, therefore, any questions about this should be directed exclusively to Javon Sixsmith.
CAR WASH Attending the Annual Car Wash on June 20th is REQUIRED by all Pride Members. Please CLICK HERE to see which location and what time you are required to attend. At this time, we are asking PARENTS who are interested in watching and helping the kids to contact Cori Aschkenas @ BABandfundraising@gmail.com. Please note, each student should bring sun block, water to drink, and either A TOWEL, DISH SOAP, OR A SPONGE!

We will take popsicle donations during the car wash. Please make sure they are the "pop ice" type liquid sticks that can be frozen when needed.

EARN MONEY FOR YOUR BAND TRIP ACCOUNT! Work in the home plate concession stand at the Tulsa Drillers baseball games. Earn $35 for evening and weekend games and $45 for day games. We would like to welcome BA Bands Health and Wellness partners: Wellspring Family Clinic and Broken Arrow Family Drug! Wellspring Family Clinic has partnered with BA Family Drug to offer the mandatory physicals for Pride students and complimentary BA Pride Quick Start care packages.
All Pride members are required to have the standard OSSAA activities physical examination done before July 23, 2015. Wellspring Family Clinic will be on site at the BAHS campus selected dates following the Pride mini-camp rehearsals in mid-July to complete physicals. Additionally, they will have special Saturday hours at their clinic July 11th and July 18th to get your child’s physical done. You may call their offices at 918-461-0422 for more information. The cost of the physical is $25 per student.
Please be advised, if you opt to schedule your appointment at the Wellspring Family Clinic offices, it is possible your health insurer (including SoonerCare) may pay for the service as a well-child checkup with no out of pocket charge to you. Consult your health insurance provider for more information.
