2015 Pride Information
We are pleased to announce the membership of the 2015 edition of the Pride of Broken Arrow Marching Band. Thank you to all who participated in the Audition Camps. A complete listing can be found on the Pride's website under Broken Arrow Pride Resources.

An Informative Parent Meeting will begin at 7:00pm THIS WEEK on THURSDAY, May 21st in the High School Band Room. All parents should plan to attend this meeting.

BAHS Graduation
Congratulations to our 2015 Graduates as you complete your High School careers! This is an exciting time to reflect on the great memories and look forward to their exciting futures! All Sophomore & Juniors are required to perform at the 2015 BAHS Graduation Ceremony on Tuesday, May 19 at the Downtown Tulsa BOK Center. Sophomores & Juniors must provide their transportation and be at the BOK Center by 5:45pm (Report time is subject to change and parking fees may apply). The uniform for this event is 'dress up clothes'. This event typically ends at around 9:45pm. There is also a required rehearsal on Monday, May 18 after school from 3:00-5:00 for ALL Sophomore & Junior band members.

2014 Pride Championship Rings
Due to popular demand, we will once again offer Pride Championship Rings to commemorate their Class AAAA National Championship, the BOA St. Louis Super Regional Championship and the OBA Marching Championship. Details for ordering, design and pricing will be shared on eNews soon.

2015 Pride BOA Schedule
The Pride will once again travel to unique locations in the USA to two different BOA (Bands of America) competitions for the 2015 season (pending school board approval). Mark your calendars as the Pride will travel to the St. Louis Super Regional during Fall Break, and will return to Indianapolis' Lucas Oil Stadium 2014 Grand National Championships.

JAZZ NOTES
Auditions for the 2015-16 Jazz 1 Ensemble will be after school on Friday, May 22nd; audition information and music is available for all interested students in the BAHS Band Room (VPA 140).

Band Parent Meeting
Our next band parent meeting will be on Thursday, May 21.

Music For All Summer Symposium
The Music for All Summer Symposium offers a week-long, immersive camp experience for high school band and orchestra students in all areas of instrumental and color guard performance, and leadership. This camp is the last full week of June, the 22-27. Students will get to experience clinics and performances from world renowned educators and performers, as well as a very competitive drum corps show on Friday night. There are seven student divisions â€“ concert band, jazz band, marching band, orchestra, percussion, color guard, and the BOA Drum Major Institute. Leadership is the central theme based around every division. 98% of all student evaluations received said that their overall impression of the Summer Symposium met their expectations and 91% said the Symposium exceeded their expectations. 100% would recommend it to their friends.

This page is for BA Bands Students and Parents only. Please ask to join the page titled FUNDRAISING FOR THE PRIDE OF BROKEN ARROW AND BROKEN ARROW BANDS. Order forms, due dates, when to pick up fundraising items, and when the Pride Store will be open are just some of the things that will be available on this page.

Special Events
Drums of Summer-

DCI Drum Corp competition will be hosted at BAHS on Tuesday, July 21st. Please help us promote this event by liking our drumsofsummer.com facebook page and getting the word out. Tickets are on sale now at DCI.org.

Ticket sales will start at 3pm, gates open at 6pm and the show starts at 7pm

We need around 100 volunteers to make this event a success. We need you!. Email us at baspecialevents@gmail.com and put DCI 2015 in the subject line so we can add you to the schedule.

Volunteer Opportunity: We are expanding our outreach to the middle schools. We want to get middle school parents involved early! If you have a child in the middle schools now or have ever had in the past, you are qualified! If you are interested in helping us in this area, let us know!

Sponsorship Opportunity: We are looking for companies that would like to partner with BA Bands. If you know of a company or work for a company who likes to support local groups, let us know! .
