OSSAA State Band Contest Next Week
Next week 8 wind bands from BAHS and the Freshman Academy will appear in the OSSAA State Band Contest. For specific information, refer to itineraries that will be distributed by your student's band director. The performances are free and open to the public.

Wind Band Auditions for the BAHS Wind Band Classes
Audition music will be distributed this week for the upcoming auditions for wind band placement for next year's wind bands. The auditions will be performed live beginning at 3:00pm on the following dates at the HS Fine Arts Facility. Students may leave once they have played their music audition.

2015 Pride Information
- Color Guard April 10 (5-8pm) And April 11 (9am-1pm)
- Percussion May 6 (3-5pm) And May 7 (6-9pm)
- Pride Leadership Leadership applications are available. See Mr. Wiencken at the HS if you have not picked yours up yet.
- Drum Major Clinic is scheduled for April 30 and the Audition is on May 7
- Horn Line Audition Camp is May 11-15

BOA Patch Segments distributed at the Pride Banquet
There has been a discrepancy in the number and amount of patch segments received from Bands of America. We are working with the BOA to arrange a fix for this. Receiving the appropriate BOA patch segments is an important part of the overall experience. We will make sure the students get the opportunity to receive any missing patch segments.

LOST AND FOUND - BA INDOOR
Lost and found items from the Bowling Green, KY, trip are located in the band offices. Any items not picked up by April 10th will go to the dumpster.


FUNCTIONS
CHAPERONES - We are in need of chaperones for seven of the eight bands as they make their way to the OSSAA state concert band competition in Owasso on Tuesday, April 14. If you would be willing to chaperone any of the following bands, please get in touch with us as soon as possible at bafunctions@gmail.com and let us know which band your child is in. We have listed the report and return times for each band below.

For last week's trip to TCC, two of the eight bands had ZERO people step forward to serve as chaperones. Please, please consider taking a half a day off from work to serve as a chaperone. You may not be called upon to accompany your child's band, but we will make absolutely certain that you have the opportunity to see your child perform, as many of the times overlap. We hope to hear from you soon. Thanks in advance for supporting the kids!!

EARN MONEY FOR YOUR BAND TRIP ACCOUNT! Work in the home plate concession stand at the Tulsa Drillers baseball games. Earn $35 for evening and weekend games and $45 for day games. All pre-ordered items will be available at the next BABPA meeting on April 14th beginning at 6:30 in the Pride Store! We will also have 1000’s of 4x6 pictures available for purchase. Most of these pictures have been sorted by child! Come by and see the many pictures of FACEME!

Concessions
Tuesday April 7th Concessions will open at 5:00 for two games varsity soccer games. The girls game begins at 5pm and the Varsity boys at 8pm. Three more volunteers are needed for the 7th. Join us for one or both games. Concessions will open at 5pm. We need your help!

Special Events
Run with the Pride- We’re planning on moving the run to September 19th this year.

We are looking for volunteers who would like to be on the planning committee to help find sponsors for food and monetary sponsors. We need to get that process started early. Sponsors are a big part of making the run a success. If you would like to be part of the committee please email us at baspecialevents@gmail.com
