OBA State Champions! Congratulations to the 2021 OBA State Marching Band Champions, the Pride of Broken Arrow!! The Pride competed in the OBA Championships this past weekend and earned awards including Outstanding Music Performance, Outstanding Visual Performance, and Outstanding General Effect in the preliminary contest and swept all awards in the finals competition including Outstanding Musical Performance, Outstanding Visual Performance and Outstanding General Effect. This marks the 28th OBA State Championship for the Pride and their 19th Consecutive title. What an amazing accomplishment for these outstanding student performers, staff and parent volunteers! If you joined us at the event, you can attest to the terrific performances that the Pride Members delivered in the event and the Finals Performance was OUTRAGEOUS… a performance to remember for a VERY long time! GO BA PRIDE! BOA Grand Nationals Preliminary Performance Time Confirmed The Grand National Preliminary Schedule has been finalized and performance times confirmed. The Broken Arrow Pride will perform in the BOA Grand National Preliminary contest on FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 11 AT 8:45AM Eastern Time (7:45am Central Time) Sounds of the Stadium - Pride PAC Concert Join us in for a truly unique experience — Sounds of the Stadium on Tuesday, November 16 at 7:00pm! This concert will feature the full Pride of Broken Arrow performing all your favorites that they perform at football games, only this time in the confines of the The Broken Arrow Performing Arts Center! It’s going to be loud and it’s going to be a blast! All District and All State Auditions November 6 at BAHS 10th - 12th Grade Students that are auditioning for these Honor Bands will audition at BAHS on Saturday, November 6. Detailed itineraries will be distributed to students in their band classes. 1 Competitions THIS Week (OSSAA) The Broken Arrow Pride will participate in 1 competitions this week. The OSSAA Regional Marching Contest will be hosted at NSU in Tahlequah and feature bands in class 5A & 6A. The OSSAA Contest is a contest with a different judging system and all bands perform 1 time (no prelims or finals). Broken Arrow performs last at 2:30pm and admission is free to this event. The OSSAA Cancelled and rescheduled the event that to be held this past Wednesday (10/27). The RESCHEDULED event is Now on Thursday of this week (11/4). Since this event is on Thursday, it also lands on the day of our final Thursday night Rehearsal prior to the Indianapolis Trip. The Pride will rehearse during upon our return to BAHS following the OSSAA contest. The REVISED Itinerary is attached. 2022 Indoor Percussion Information There will be an informational meeting for all students and parents interested in 2022 Broken Arrow Indoor Percussion on Tuesday, October 26th from 7:00-7:30 PM in the Band Hall. All members of the Pride are eligible for membership in the Drumline, Front Ensemble and the Visual Ensemble. Information about auditions, rehearsals, performances, and tentative trip schedule as well as additional info for the upcoming Indoor Percussion Season will be shared. Charms For those new to the Pride, Charms is a student management software used by the bands to manage student accounts, uniforms, inventory, communication, etc., in all areas of the band program. All Pride members for 2021 have been pre-registered in Charms. To log in, visit www.CharmsOffice.com, use the parent log in tab and the school code “brokenarrowbandâ€. The initial log in password is your student’s ID number. If you have forgotten your password, please email Lisa Good at lsgood@baschools.org to have it reset. Please also update the profile information for you and your students. Students should have their own email address. See THIS informative sheet for new Charms users. Specific 2021 Pride Information - Charms As a reminder to all current 2021 Pride members and parents, all specific communications regarding Pride will be communicated via Charms. Make sure your account is set up and your parent info is added to you child’s account. All info from the recent booster club meeting is being sent to you via Charms.
The season has started! There is a lot happening behind the scenes, and even more will be coming soon. Make sure you find your place to plug in and be an active part of this wonderful organization. You'll be glad you did!

We are currently working to clean up our distribution list for the work events. If you would like to be included on the new distribution list even if you have already been on the past list, we need you to complete the form at the following link: BABANDWORK Email Opt In 2021 GoBA, Show Shirt, and Luggage tag orders are now closed. The Store will have a limited number of GoBA and Show Shirts available for sale if you missed the order deadline. Final delivery dates are not yet available, so please stay tuned to Charms for pick-up information. Order deadlines for 2021 Ornament, Street Signs, and Coasters have been extended to October 1. No additional items will be ordered for these popular items, so please place your order prior to the deadline. Believe it or not, cooler weather is right around the corner. Make sure your Pride student has warm clothes for cooler rehearsal days and long bus rides. White Pride hoodies are available from the Store. Check out the newly released items in the Online Store.
