BA Band Concerts NEXT WEEK at the BAPAC!
Our first full band concert of the year is NEXT WEEK! Due to COVID 19 precautions and social distancing guidelines, our concerts will be divided into SEPARATE CONCERT EVENTS. A separate ticket is required for each concert event.

HS Band Concert 1 - 6:30pm (Tues, Apr 6)

NOTE: Parents must have a ticket to attend the concert. To allow all parents an opportunity to attend their child’s performance, PLEASE only request a ticket for the event that your child is performing in.


How to obtain Tickets for the Band Concerts
TICKETS ARE REQUIRED TO ENTER THE PAC
  • -Reserved tickets are REQUIRED for each person attending. Tickets are FREE while supplies last.
  • -Social Distancing will be maintained in the theatre
  • -Masks are REQUIRED in the building as well as in the theatre DURING the performances
  • -Parents can call or come by the PAC Box Office to get their reserved tickets.
  • -Box Office hours are M-F 9am-4:30pm (Closed for lunch from 12-12:30pm)

  • -Tickets will NOT be available the evening of the concerts. All tickets must be reserved no later than 4:30pm on the day of the concert
  • -Tickets are NOT available to reserve online

Broken Arrow Concert Band Festival next Thursday - 4/8
Each of the HS wind bands (BAHS & Freshman Academy) will appear in the Broken Arrow Concert Band Festival on Thursday, April 8. Refer to itinerary - AVAILABLE HERE - that have been distributed by your student's band director. Unfortunately, the performances are closed and not open to the public. This educational performance and clinic will feature a special event for our Broken Arrow Concert Bands in this unique performance festival.


OBA Concert Band Festival next Friday - 4/9
The HS Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band 1 will participate in next week’s OBA / BOA Regional Concert Band Festival. This educational performance and clinic will feature many bands from the region in this unique performance festival. The itineraries will be sent out to students in the HS Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band 1 later this week.




2021 PRIDE INFORMATION
We are very excited to move into the training season for the auditions of the 2021 Pride of Broken Arrow! With so much time that we’ve been “off,” it will be exciting to ‘get the gang back together’ and begin prepping for an incredible return to full activities for the Pride of Broken Arrow (within existing COVID protocols). The following are items of note:


Horn Line
Horn Line will begin NEXT week with sessions for our returning veterans! We are thrilled to get started again with you!
  • - Horn line Visual Audition - Monday, March 29 (6-8:00)at BAHS
  • - Horn line Visual Audition - Tuesday, March 30 (6-8:00)at BAHS
  • - Horn line Visual Audition - Thursday, April 1 (6-8:00)at BAHS
  • - Horn line Music Audition - Virtual Submission by April 1

Horn Line NOTES:
- Horn Line Music Audition applies to potential first year members ONLY. Returning veteran’s are not required to submit a Pride Music Audition
- Music Auditions must be submitted in the Canvas “Pride Audition Class” using the media recorder no later than 11:50pm on Thursday (April 1)
- Horn Line Visual auditions will be at the BAHS Stadium on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday of this week.
- Students must provide their own transportation to and from BAHS Memorial Stadium
- Horn Line students should bring their band instrument, wear a white T shirt, and be ready to learn a lot and have fun.
- Students must attend all 3 Visual Sessions this week (Monday, Tuesday, AND Thursday)


Percussion
The Pride percussion section will audition after the conclusion of the Indoor Percussion season. Auditions will take place for the percussion section on May 3 & 4.

We were excited to receive multiple applications for board positions, including some who simply said “Plug me in wherever I’m needed”. This organization is blessed to have amazing volunteers!

If you are interested in being on the Booster Club Board, please fill out the application and send it to BABandPResident@gmail.com. The application form was sent via email from Charms on February 9th.

We have moved to charms so please make sure all information in charms is correct. We imported information from CUTTIME into Charms.



VICE - PRESIDENTS

Honey Baked Ham has been one of our feed the pride sponsors the past several years. They are looking for some extra help in their store this Easter week. Money will go to your child’s account and they will serve you free lunch while you are there as well as products for your own Easter dinner. If you would like to work and help out this sponsor please email me ASAP for details.

Dine out this Tuesday March 23rd at Whataburger here in BA from 5-8pm. Be sure to share the event to help us spread the word.

We are doing a Mattress Sale Fundraiser again this year. The date is May 15th from 10am-4pm. Last year we made over $9,000.00 (in a pandemic) This fundraiser is great for both overall fundraising and Individual Account Fundraising. More information is coming!!!

Your sharing events on your facebook and other social media is sooooo important. So please don't just like events.. Be sure to share them!!

The 2020 Street Signs and 2020 Show Coasters have arrived! These items will be available for pick-up at the March parent meeting.

The 2020 Street Signs (ordered prior to March 2021) and 2020 Show Coasters have arrived! These items can be picked up anytime the Pride Store is open.

Thank you to those that ordered the 2021 Indoor Percussion show shirt and buttons. The items are in process and will be ready to wear for the 3 April WGPO show. We’ll schedule a pick-up time prior to the show, so please stay tuned to Facebook and Charms.

By popular demand and for a limited time, the Pride Store is offering 2019 Yee Haw and 2020 The Show Must Go On street signs for purchase. Items are limited to the 2019 and 2020 shows only.
