Band Booster Meeting - Next Tuesday (3/9) at 7:00pm
There will be a BA Band Booster Club Meeting Next Tuesday (3/9) at 7:00pm in the BAHS Field House. At this meeting there will be a great deal of new info to launch us into to the Spring Semester and beyond. Some topics include:
  • - Spring Concert Ensemble performances and events
  • - Jazz Ensemble update
  • - Percussion Ensemble Virtual Concert plans
  • - Indoor Percussion update
  • - 2021 Pride Training Sessions: Color Guard and Horn Line
  • - 2021 Pride Audition Schedule

2021 PRIDE INFORMATION
We are very excited to move into the training season for the auditions of the 2021 Pride of Broken Arrow! With so much time that we’ve been “off,” it will be exciting to ‘get the gang back together’ and begin prepping for an incredible return to full activities for the Pride of Broken Arrow (within existing COVID protocols). The following are items of note:


Horn Line
Horn Line will begin NEXT week with sessions for our returning veterans! We are thrilled to get started again with you!
  • - Instrument Check out - Tuesday, March 9 (5-7:00)Bring $35 User Fee (Veterans Only)
    - Veteran Music Training - Thursday, March 11 (3:30-5:30)at BAHS (Veterans Only)

Horn Line NOTES:
- Parent must be present on Tuesday, March 9 for Pride members to check out a school owned instrument. IF it is not possible for a parent to attend, a SPECIAL parent consent must be received prior to instrument being issued. Also, the $35 User fee is required for Instrument pick up. The $35 User fee is a one-time fee that effects the duration of the Pride season (March 2021 - May 2022).
- Horn Line Music Audition applies to potential first year members ONLY. Returning veteran’s are not required to submit a Pride Music Audition


Percussion
The Pride percussion section will audition after the conclusion of the Indoor Percussion season. Auditions will take place for the percussion section on May 3 & 4.

VICE - PRESIDENTS

A new season is upon us and I can’t wait to see our band families again! We will hit the ground running this week with uniforms. If you can help with measurements this Thursday or Friday, meet Jodena in the uniform room after the parent meeting on Tuesday to get information. If you can’t attend the meeting but want to help this week email bauniform@gmail.com. We are needing to add a few more RN’s to our nursing team this year. If you are a nurse and willing to volunteer your time let me know.

The 2020 Street Signs and 2020 Show Coasters have arrived! These items will be available for pick-up at the March parent meeting.

2021 Indoor Percussion show shirt/hoodie per-orders are now closed. Thank you to all that placed orders. We expect the shirts and hoodies to be available by the end of March. We’ll schedule a pick-up event once the shirts arrive. Please stay tuned to eNews, Facebook, and Charms for pick-up announcements.
