EXCITING NEWS! We have been approved to proceed with a Pride Banquet / Awards Ceremony to celebrate the 2019 season. While this banquet will look different than it has in the past, we are SO EXCITED to assemble the 2019 Pride and celebrate these students (and recent graduates)! This event will be held at the BAPAC and live streamed. Due to revised seating capacities in the PAC, Students ONLY will attend the event at the PAC while parents, families & friends will enjoy the banquet via a live streamed event in the comfort of your homes. The live stream is free and open to all. 2019 Pride members will attend the event at the PAC on Tuesday, August 4th beginning at 7:00pm. This will be a fun event to celebrate the 2019 season. 2019-2020 Seniors (Graduates): Arrive at 6:00 and Seated by 6:15pm 2019-2020 Juniors: Arrive at 6:15 and Seated by 6:30pm 2019-2020 Sophomores: Arrive at 6:30 and Seated by 6:45pm 2019-2020 Freshman: Arrive at 6:45 and Seated by 7:00pm We are excited to announce a celebration for the 2019 Pride Season and the amazing show. "Yee Haw!†Due to COVID-19 restrictions, participation in this event is limited to Pride members from the 2019-2020 season. We are partnering with ArrowVision to provide live coverage for parents and others who want to watch the event. - Date: Tuesday, August 11, 2020 - Location: Broken Arrow Performing Arts Center - Time: The ceremony will begin at 7pm. - Live Stream: Visit http://goba.band/awards or http://arrowvision.tv. Checkout BA Schools on YouTube. The ceremony will end at approximately 9:00p.m. Students will be dismissed by row to retrieve their memorabilia packet and exit the building. Attire: Traditional Banquet or your favorite Wrangler jeans! Attendees will be required to adhere to specific COVID-19 policies as directed by the PAC. Seating has been designed to allow for appropriate social distance. Without fail, the Oklahoma summer heat WILL be upon us. The Pride staff would like to assure all parents of our commitment to the members physical well being. Due to the nature of activities like marching band and football practice, we are constantly exposed to the heat and it is important that we all take precautions:
Parent & Student Help Needed: Face Coverings / Social Distancing As we continue our summer sessions and get closer to the start of the Pride Camp, we need help from everyone. When students are “on task†in rehearsal it is much easier for students to comply and staff to monitor the social distancing and face coverings for our students. However, we are meeting challenges in the time before and after our sessions / rehearsals with students maintaining a 6 foot social distance and wearing their face coverings. We ask all students to be more emphatic (and parents to reinforce with their children) how important this is for the Pride to continue our progress into the 2020 season. This is now the NEW NORM for the CULTURE of our Pride of Broken Arrow. All students must wear their face covering prior to beginning rehearsal and only remove a face covering to drink water (eat) or at the direction of a staff member. Students in their time prior to rehearsals will definitely want to socialize with their friends (this is totally understandable and encouraged), however, it must occur with 6 foot social distancing and face coverings. Cut Time tracks student progress through the years including program participation, inventory assignments and financial obligations. This is a new service to the BA Bands that replaces “Charms†and will continue expanding in its functionality and convenience to our parents and students. All financial obligations and details will be communicated directly via Cut Time. How do you enroll in Cut Time (free enrollment) to receive these detailed communications? Start by providing the info to establish your profile. Start by using THIS tutorial. Pride Payment #2 Due July 31 The second payment of $500 is due by the end of July. Payments may be made (Cash, Check or Credit Card) in person by visiting the HS Band Office during normal Summer hours (Mon-Thurs 9:00-4:00). Payments may be made online via Cut Time or Mailed to the Broken Arrow Band Booster Club (1216 E Kenosha #228, Broken Arrow, OK 74012). Please make all checks payable to “BABBCâ€. All future payment info will be detailed and communicated via Cut Time. With recent adjustments to our travel schedule, we will begin adjusting the budget and fee schedule...more information coming soon

The Pride Store is open an hour before and after all band parent meetings. Additional store events will be posted online, as well as dates for item pick ups. **Available preorders (from the Pride Store only) will be open for pick up on Monday, 8/10, from 7:30-9:15 in the stadium parking lot** Car Decals: All orders received through 8/5 were submitted to Tiger Threads. Turnaround will be approximately 2 weeks. We will let you know as soon as they are available. Tiger Threads Update: The Pride Store site has been live for two weeks! We have decided to leave it open for an additional week to allow parents to get their orders in- get your gear ordered now! Starting Monday, new items will be added to their site: Keychains, buttons, lanyards, and license plate frames- check them out! Tiger Threads will be handling all of the orders for: Backpacks, Duffles, Bags, Pride marching shirts and hoodies, hats/beanies/visors, lanyards, keychains, Window decals, shorts and joggers, Jackets, Alumni shirts, Volunteer shirts, Tradition shirts, and Polos. New Marching and Guard shirts are in and are available through the Pride store! Please note we do not ship store orders! Disney patches are still available - get yours while they last!
